Hello! I hope you had a lovely month, I certainly had a big one. Rowan Unfolded was released out into the world on the 11th. It was a huge day for me, being able to see months of my hard work and all my fears be bared for the world to pick apart. I'm beyond grateful that the responses for Rowan's book have been so positive. It means so much to me that so many of you, can see parts of yourself, and for others, parts of me, with Rowan and Larissa. I have a bit of an update as well, my first novel (rather than novella, which is what Rowan Unfolded is, technically speaking), will be releasing on January 16, 2026. I'm going to include a cover release here, down below! It was designed by the lovely Ashton Artistryy - along with some special preorder goodies! Keep an eye on my Instagram account to see more about those.
Quote for the Month:
"I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples." - Mother Teresa
Why This Quote?
I've seen many quotes over my life, and I hold so many of them close to my heart. But, this one is really beautiful to me. Often when we're young we crave to change the world for the better, I know I did. As a teenager everything seemed so simple, so clear, so painfully obvious. It made no sense why people wouldn't chose love at every step. As an adult, I often feel that I know less now, than I did back then. I don't know how to stop people from being hungry on a global scale. I don't know how I can end needless suffering. In fact, that brings to mind another quote, "Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” - Rumi I think these quotes go so well together. It's acknowledgement that I alone, cannot change the world. Nor can anyone else. But, together we can do anything we dream. It's within unity that we are the strongest. Humans are social creatures after all. So for my piece of the unity puzzle, I put Rowan's story into the world, and on January 16, 2026, Harper Uncovered will enter the world too. I have no idea how to change the world, but I do know how to put more love in it.

That's all for my November recap, I hope you had a lovely November. But, if it wasn't all you were hoping for, there's always today. Let's live for that. I'm going to leave you with a question: What little piece of love can you put into the world? (Hint: smiling at strangers works really well) I will catch you this time next month. - K. Kenley
